i shall tell him-
who he is?
i shall tell him
of the barriers
to be climbed?

 

A sunny day-
go out and cherish
one, or many
(i love a mouse, she says
but i’m not minnie).

 

shall i tell him-
the truth of it?
the eternal secret?

 

what is real?

 

to tell some things would
be folly, the mouse learns
but trial and error.
