Windows Vista SP1 RC

I recently installed, the SP1 RC on my Windows Vista Home Premium … hmmm The install took a bit longer than an hour, with at least 5-6 reboots :))

Well, I would say that it gave an 5-10% performance boost, when working with Windows Explorer, moving files, deleting directories with lot’s of files, etc … and in overall the system is a lot more stable and more responsive, which is quite good.

On the surface I haven’t noticed any visible change, I guess the changes are more or less ‘internal’ .

I’d say that the SP1 will be something which will worth installing. I can’t wait the final version, though I don’t think that much will change, compared to this RC.
