A Poem … just for me …

Here is a poem written by one of my friends (lol … Gem) for Mickey (Yay, that’s me!!!) …

 

tell, tell, tell, tell

 

tell, tell, tell, tell

 

i shall tell him-
who he is?
i shall tell him
of the barriers
to be climbed?

 

A sunny day-
go out and cherish
one, or many
(i love a mouse, she says
but i’m not minnie).

 

shall i tell him-
the truth of it?
the eternal secret?

 

what is real?

 

to tell some things would
be folly, the mouse learns
but trial and error.

Forth week, with Ubuntu …

Well, this was my forth week with Ubuntu, and I spent most of my time customizing the “interface” to make a “leet” Linux box.

I can say that it was a “great” success and now I’m fully pleased with how it looks, and works. Pleasant to both the eye and spirit.

Eventually I will post a screenshot so everyone can admire my beautiful desktop.

Third week, just with Ubuntu

This is my third week using Ubuntu, and I successfully converted one of my friends a “Windowz” guy also, a Windowz Evangelist. Although I am not sure how much he will survive or rather resist without being able doing everything he used to do with ease in Windowz.

Anyway, I’m glad that at least he’s giving a try to this excellent OS.
